Answer;
In the given scenario,
the public hospitals of Lahore engaged in the treatment of cancer patients are
the primary sampling unit and the seven hospitals which decided to cooperate
with the research project are the secondary sampling unit.
As it is a single-level
sampling, therefore the seven hospitals (engaged in the treatment of cancer
patients) of Lahore (which are also the secondary sampling unit) are the
observation unit.
Q.No.4
What type of research is
this? Descriptive, exploratory, or explanatory?
Answer;
In my view, the research
conducted by the NGO is descriptive in nature because its motive is to describe
the cancer patient s’ attitude towards the doctor s’ personality, behavior,
competence, and prescribed treatment. This kind of research is conducted to
find the answers to questions like who, when, where, and what. how etc.
