MS(CS) Spring 2013 Course Selection

All MS(CS) students are required to select their courses for Spring 2013 semester from the following list of courses, and email their selected courses at mscs_courseselection@vu.edu.pk till April 12, 2013 (Friday). Please note, students who are required to study prerequisites course must select prerequisite courses first. A student who has completed 21 MS level credit hours of course work with a CGPA not less than 2.75 can enroll MS thesis (CS720).

General Rules

1.      A student can only enroll a course if he/she has taken pre-requisites for that particular course.
2.      A student can improve a 'C' or 'D' grade in a course only once.
3.      A student can only select subjects from a pool of subjects that is being offered in current semester.
4.      In a single semester, a student can enroll 4 MS subjects, i.e. 12 MS level credit hours.

  
Degree Requirements
 To get the MS(CS) degree a student is required to take four courses from his/her area of specialization, four core courses, and a research-based thesis.

Course Add/Drop Date
Students can change their selected courses for this semester until April 30, 2013.


Commencement of Classes
Please note that Spring 2013 semester will start from April 15, 2013.
